Sanctuary

The actress that plays Kate is terrible and is ruining the show. If she's not killed off soon I will stop watching this show. This show is seriously one of my favorites right now but this actress is unbearable and annoying to watch.

Please tell me that Ashley Magnus is alive.

Did anyone else notice that the characters were green skinned tonight? Did I miss something and this is some sort of disease or is it bad make-up on my HDTV? Or is it the CGI green screen making some odd effects on their skin? Anyone else find this?

I bought the first season of Sanctuary on DVD about a month ago, never watched the show, but for some reason I was drawn to the DVD, I had to see it, I'm glad I did, I'm totally hooked on the Sanctuary TV show. Unfortunatly I missed the first two episode of season 2. Looking forward to seeing what happen to Ashley and how she disappear. SANCTUARY ROCKS!.....

Finally, a show where Amanda Tapping can show her versatility and acting ability.

At Ashley's memorial service, Helen places an amulet in the coffin and closes it up. The acquiring of this amulet is the subject of a continueing storyline outlining her memory Helen has throughout the entire episode, and seems to occur in the late 50's in the New Mexico desert. Well before Ashley's birth.
In ithe storyline, Helen returns an ... See Moreurn containing the ashes of indiam shaman. She says only that she had acquired the urn in the amazon and had promised to return him (the shamon) home. The indian leader she eventually locates and hads this urn then says that my ancestors had waited 300 years for his return, and will put them at peace. She was then handed the amulet with him saying, "this was meant for you. May it guide you through dark places and into the light".

Perhaps Helen feels this amulet has the power to help Ashley, where ever she is, to escape ??

Great episode. I'm very happy with the way season 2 is shaping up. It's rare to see improvement like this. Great job.

I really hope that Ashley isn't dead. I don't think the show would be the same without her and I really don't think that Magnus would be the same without her. To bad they can't pull the "she ascended" stunt like they did for Daniel Jackson in "Stargate."

great show!!! i am getting more and more addicted to it!! very emotional at the memorial service, Great job Amanda!! Personally, i dun think Ashley's dead... and there must be more to the sanctuary-cabal storyline!! looking forward to that and more!!! =)

here is a hint that ashley may still be alive!!! in the theme song thing were they show who is in it...ASHLEY IS STILL THERE!!! dont get me wrong i might be BUT there is still hope right? i mean come on they cant get rid of the most popular character and still expect people to watch it, i bet that sometime during the season they will hint that the ... yea but, if you go on to itunes and see the season 2 poster. ashley is not in it, but the but kate in there. plus that poster is old

I'm so bummed that they killed Ashley. This will definatly change the story

This show rocks Amanda Tapping looked really beautiful on this show I even loved the color of her hair she looks awsome with brown hair.

Love this show!!! My life revolves around it. The characters are great and I dont mind mind Ashley being killed off. I think the story line for season 2 will evolve and grow now. The actor who plays Kate Freelander is great. I really hope they keep her around.

i agree. Ashley needs to come back. i dont mind kate staying around but not as ashley's replacement. BRING BACK ASHLEY!

Hey guys. So I was just looking at Robin Dunne's official website. He has some photo's posted from season 2. Part of this photo includes cast shots. There is one with Kate in it. There is also a new one with Ashley in it. Which suggest that she is not dead. However we will have to wait and see.

hey there was a podcast for sanctuary for the reason y they killed ashley and amanda tapping sound that on scifi. everybody pretty much comes back to life and that they have a good story coming up. which it sounds like ashley will be back this season or next season. but i think ashley will be back the last episode of the season.

I don’t understand why is there so much negativity about Kate Freelander? I find this character humorous, funny, and she balances out the dark and serious with light humour. I do not find her annoying or irritating. I am trying to understand why some people are so against her. Quite frankly, I never got into Ashley. She was just there.

What is up with the make-up this season?! Everyone has a yellow-orange skin tone, with WAY too pink lips... Did everyone in Sanctuary come down with jaundice?

Can they cut down the green screen usage, too?

So far, season one has been better, IMO...

I was very disappointed about Ashley being removed at this point. It's kind of like meh for me at the moment, not sure if i can keep watching it. Kate still doesn't make it click for me.

Please, please, please make Kate go away. She is bringing down the show...

i think ashley energy is alive in hele, which is why i think she is getting such strong visions of her daughter. of course the danger of her mind surviving the trauma she faced could be driving her mad, but i think ashley is part of her and she doesn't realize it yet.

brandon, they do say why, they just twist the words around, but ashley will be back, they would not do something like that is they werent going to bring ashley back. amanda tapping just twisted the words

Love the show, wish it was on TV here in australia, it is great to see Amanda Tapping in a show as the lead character she is a very strong actor. And the two guys that play Will (Hot) and Henry (Hotter).

I wonder what is going to happen after the leader of the Cabal is dead when that happens what is left to fight...
