I love this park. After working there for 4 years, i still love it. Me and my girlfriend plan on moving out to sandusky in a few years just to be closer to the park, and maybe even get permenent positions there.

I also go to Cedar Point every year, get a season pass every year. I love Maverick, best ride ever.

The Maverick is the best ride! And sit in the very front...it's the only way to ride a coaster anyways! I wish ohio was warmer during the winter months so it could be open year round!

anyone else surprised at how crazy crowded it was this past opening day on Saturday? I've been going to Cedar Point on opening weekend for years but last saturday was by far, the most crowded ive seen it on a non-holiday.

Today is commercial day. The day we bring Yellow Submarine Marketing (our ad agency) in to film our new commercial for Planet Snoopy. When we film commercials, there's no actual sound, so we're just filming pictures (they'll add voice-over and music later). We'll also post it for you once we have it completed!

Here we go! Beautiful weather, smiling faces and a "2008 First to Ride" contest winner like Erik! We gave him the VIP treatment, complete with a ride from the front of the park to the back. That's Erik in the Aero shirt along with his three buddies. First stop? Maverick, of course! The "official" first public ride of the season! We came back extremely happy to be riding again. Then it was off to Millennium Force. There they go... And then Mantis... And finally, Top Thrill Dragster. Congratulations once again, Erik. More contests just like this one are coming soon. Keep reading the website and sign up for Funtimes for all the details. We also had our grand opening of Planet Snoopy. I stopped by to say congrats to our PEANUTS friends: I also had a chance to visit with the guests of honor, Snoopy and Uno, the Best In Show winner of the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. Uno was nice enough to "give kisses." How's that for a blog photo? :)
