
Sarah Jane Gray The author of Hebrews describes people as runners in a spiritual race, encouraged onward by an encompassing "cloud of witnesses." In this project, viewers are invited to name and celebrate all the saints, mentors, and friends who have inspired and encouraged them on their journey.

Sarah Jane Gray Approximately 1500 ceramic vessels were installed in the open courtyard of Christ Church Cathedral in Lexington, Kentucky. Between April 12 and April 23, all 1500 vessels were carried away by viewers of the exhibit, thus expanding the installation into the ownership and personal space of the greater community.

Sarah Jane Gray Created in the fall of 2006, this series of ceramic vessel forms explores themes of fragmentation and longing for wholeness.

Sarah Jane Gray Drawn from life in the summer of 2007, this series of small graphite drawings depicts a stillborn baby girl of roughly six months gestation.
