****Tax preparers wanted!!****
-The Information Sessions for Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) begins next week.
-Students who participate will receive FREE IRS Tax training and learn how to use Tax Wise.
-This is an opportunity to assist individuals in the community to keep their hard earned mon...e...y by insuring they receive the Earned Income Tax Credit and Child Tax Credit.
-Tax assistance will begin 1/15/10 and end on 4/15/10.
-It is requested that volunteers commit to one four hour shift per week (day, evening and Saturday hours available).
-Spanish speaking helpers are need as well as people to volunteer in Sarasota, Venice, Englewood & North Port. Training Session Dates and Site Delivery Locations please see attached.
-Offered through the United Way of Sarasota.
