The Sarasota Film Festival and Board President Mark Famiglio are proud to announce SFF has been given the honor of being the only film festival invi...ted to join The American Pavilion (AMPAV) at the Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France (May 13 –24, 2009) live via the internet.
Featuring interactive panels, "Virtual Cannes" gives Local Students, Industry Professionals and Film Lovers an all-access pass to one of the oldest, most influential and prestigious film festivals in the world. The viewing public will have the opportunity to question panel members in Cannes via live internet cameras. Local students from our community are on-site in Cannes to facilitate and direct these panels.
“Virtual Cannes” will be available at the Downtown Sarasota “Restaurant Suzette” (23 Lemon Avenue North) where they are offering a daily happy hour with appetizers and discounts for Sarasota Film Festival Members.
