New story from Soap Leaves, the Sarva Soaps Blog
Leaves on Bridge, Shaker Lakes, Cleveland Ohio. ©2009 Michelle Gilbert. Declaration of Freedom Whatever may seem to bind or limit you, Declare yourself free from it now. There is nothing in the outer world, No person, no condition, no circumstance That can take away th...e freedom Which is yours in spirit. Instead of wishing that you were free To live your life differently, Accept the truth that right now You are free. Free to change your thinking, Free to change your outlook on life, Free to be all that you long to be… - Swami Satyananda Saraswati I wanted to share the above with you (I’ve abridged it slightly). This inspired and affected me deeply when I received it in my inbox today (thank you North American Gurukul). Here we are on the crest of not only a new year, but also a new decade. As we both reflect back on 2009 and look forward to 2010, let’s also remember and enjoy the opportunity, power, and beauty of right now. After all, “right now” creates both our future and, ultimately, our past. The coming year will bring some changes to the Sarva product line as well as what I’ll be writing about here, and I’ll fill you in soon. But… let’s stick to right now! I simply want to wish you a happy and safe New Year celebration as well as peace, happiness, and prosperity in 2010. Happy New Year! Share and Enjoy:

Sarva Natural Artisan Soaps why do YOU buy Sarva Soaps? The look, the feel on your skin, the scents? Because they're 100% natural and not 97% natural? Got another reason? Do tell! Your comments will influence the direction we take in 2010!

Jennifer We gave your soaps to family members last week (and will give some more tomorrow). My grandma had a soap truffle in her soap dish the very next day. :)

Debbie Your profile image is gorgeous! Where can I buy some of your soap?

Sarva Natural Artisan Soaps is sad to report we must discontinue Satori soap. The International Fragrance Association (IFRA) has banned methyl chavicol, a constituent of particular varieties of basil essential oil. Satori contains basil. In order to comply with IFRA, we are forced to discontinue manufacture of Satori. The only way to offer a bas...il-like scent would be to use a synthetic fragrance. Please accept our apologies.

Sarva Natural Artisan Soaps wishes to inform local customers that our products will no longer be available at Room Service in Gordon Square/Cleveland after tomorrow. Sorry for the inconvenience! Still plenty of great places to buy Sarva Soaps in the coming year :-)

Sarva Natural Artisan Soaps SALE! We've marked down our remaining stock of holiday soaps by up to 20%. Shop now! http://bit.ly/6eOfpl

Disinfectants cause some bacteria to ADAPT/THRIVE, testing shows. Great reason to use plain soap and water.

To keep sickness at bay, many of us constantly wash hands and disinfect surfaces. But a new lab study shows one pesky bacterium eats cleansers for breakfast: When disinfectant was applied to lab cultures of the bacteria, they adapted to survive not only the disinfectant but also a common antibiotic.
