The Saugatuck-Douglas Halloween Festival is held each year on the Saturday closest to Halloween. Come celebrate Saugatuck's favorite fall event with ghosts, goblins and curious creatures of all kinds in Michigan's premier beach town. Allegan County Board of Commissioners is expected to CUT 25% ($50,000) from the Parks & Tourism Dept budget. My husband and I spent the most delightful time in Saugatuck for our 10th wedding anniversary. We stayed in a suite at the BaySide Inn Bed & Breakfast, which I highly recommend. The views from our suite were incredible and the interior was warm, comfortable and wonderfully appointed. We went to one of our favourites th...e Belvedere Inn & Restaurant for dinner - where we shared Chateaubriand for two.
