Green Source USA, LLC is pleased to announce the availability of a free online energy tracking tool. The website, called GreenQuest, is a personal energy dashboard that enables community members to track and analyze energy use for their homes or places of business. According to Owner, Libby Bacon, “Green Source is p...roviding GreenQuest to the community in order to educate, raise awareness, and promote energy and water conservation.”
By using this software, community residents can track their energy and water usage and costs; compare their buildings with comparable properties that are also using the software; evaluate energy saving projects; track their carbon footprint; analyze energy use with AccuWeather data; and as an option, obtain an ENERGY STAR building rating (for commercial buildings). The service is completely free for community members and is safe and secure.
Green Source USA, LLC is a strong proponent of energy and water conservation; “When you want to conserve water and energy and reduce your carbon emissions a key step is to track your usage. With GreenQuest, we’re giving every household and business in the community a powerful tool to do that”, Ms. Bacon said. “The free software can help community members be better environmental stewards and save money on utilities. 1. Food, refreshments and live music from 3-7pm at Whitmarsh Plaza next to Thrive Cafe. This is a reception presenting project proposals developed by graduate students in SCAD's Design for Sustainability and Design Management programs for sustainable design at Whitmarsh... P...laza, and include permeable paving, greenroofs, composting and recycling services, local and organic food collaborations, and an outdoor eating area built from reclaimed materials for Thrive's outdoor eating area.
2. Dennis Hutton will speak on the health benefits of LEED certified schools and how building high performance schools (LEED certified) does not cost more than building conventional schools at the August meeting of the USGBC-Georgia Savannah Branch. 5:45 -7 at Wild Wings
