In fact, we didn't know that our friend had passed away - we had seen him only a few weeks before at Lake Junaluska, where he had been an inspiring and challenging speaker at the youth event. I used to work for Lester when he was the Minister of Evangelism at Glenn Memorial UMC in Atlanta and he has been a good friend of mine ever since. During December when the youth he ministered to are home from college, I am organizing an event to make two scrapbooks. One for his wife and two children and another one for his mother.
