Ratchet and his person, Gwen, were reunited on January 16th, 2009 in Minnesota! Both pup and human are well.
Ratchet loves the snow and was thrilled to see Gwen again. He won't let her out of his sight now and even sits and waits while she showers. He enjoys car rides, rawhides, and reporters!
THANK YOU to everyone who has supported this cause. It means the world to so many that Ratchet is now safely back in the arms that love him so much. - Mission:
- "Throughout 2008 our Operation Baghdad Pups team completed 15 rescue missions to Iraq. They saved 67 dogs and 8 cats belonging to U.S. soldiers from sure death in the warzone. Over half of these soldiers have already been reunited with their buddies and are celebrating the holidays with them on American soil. SPCA International continues to receive 3-4 new requests for help per week and we have a full year of new Operation Baghdad Pups missions ahead in 2009." http://www.spca.com/press/item/76
