Schild Estate Wines Wine Spectator Magazine Reviews have been released. A massive 94 points for 2005 Mooroorooo Shiraz and 90 points for the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon. The yet to be released 2006 Ben Schild Reserve Shiraz and 2007 Barossa Shiraz scored 91 and 92 points respectively. Fantastic results for these fantastic wines!!
Schild Estate Wines NAB Barossa Gourmet Weekend is over for another year. Schild Estate 2005 Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon has been awarded a GOLD medal at this year’s MUNDUSvini Great International Wine Awards, with the 2006 Barossa Shiraz receiving a SILVER.
MUNDUSvini has now become the most important wine competition in Germany and the largest wine-tasting event organized by the OIV worldwi...de. A total of 5343 wines and sparkling wines from 41 countries were submitted for tasting and 1664 medals were awarded.
Grand gold medals were awarded to 24 wines, gold medals to 450 wines and silver medals to 1190 wines. However, according to OIV rules, medals may only be awarded to 30 % of the wines submitted for tasting.
