Flynn Vineyard Haven't posted an update in a while. We've made some legal headway towards the winery. We got our special permitted use approved this September so next is Federal and State licensing. Woo hoo! Working on plans for the spring planting already.

I pressed out the Frontenac last Saturday. Didn't have time for pictures but the wine is a beautiful dark purple with a fluorescent edge. Tried some for quality purposes and it does have a high acid. Will be working on bringing that down when the cold comes.

Flynn Vineyard Vineyard and Winery Equipment

Flynn Vineyard

Flynn Vineyard Tri clamps came in today. Gaskets and fittings about a week ago. Press is on its way with a variable tank. Things are coming together! And just in time for crush. (well most of them anyway). At least now I can pump the ferment/wine without being subjected to gravity's will.

Flynn Vineyard What a day yesterday! Our new crusher destemmer exceeded our expectations. We spend the majority of the day pressing and pressing again. Thanks Matt for letting us borrow your little press! But we can't wait for our 42 gallon press for sure now! Edelweiss is in its happy stainless new home :). It started at 12 brix and we took it to 23.

Flynn Vineyard Thought I would post an update. Not much has changed in the vineyard the last few weeks. We've been working on paperwork and planning for the winery. It is a long process but it will be worth it in the end. Looks like our August mtg is being pushed back to September. Time to start with the TTB. We'll be taking gr...ow tubes off this weekend so I'll get some pictures out with those.

Yeah this is probably true. I'll see how things go and update you at the next meeting. I need to get rid of some old JEEPS and some ag equipment and do a lot of brush cleanup. Then I'll be ready! :)
