Scriptshadow Scriptshadow in this month's "Wired" - http://scriptshadow.blogspot.com/

As some of you have been discovering, there's an article in this month's "Wired" about Scriptshadow. Pretty darn exciting, huh!? I don't know what else to say other than I've been reading Wired for like 10 years so it's downright cool as hell that anything I've done would make it into the magazine. ...

I'm having trouble w/my browser commenting on your site, so I am coming here to vent on why I think this book is such a success. I borrowed a copy from my bf's 11 year old niece and I could barely get through it, I got a massive migraine from all the eye rolling. This book caters to the narcissistic fantasies of the young impressionable female ... Read Moremind in all the worst ways (and older female minds, which I find very disturbing). Edward is incredibly handsome and desirable, if not the most handsome and desirable guy who ever existed on the face of this planet, as this is repeated on almost every page of the book. He's a perfect greek statue, incredibly hot, and "...he looked like he had just come off the shoot for a raincoat ad". Edward has never desired or will ever desire another girl except for Bella, as the author points out that he never even notices other girls in when he's with her, despite the fact that they're all desperately swooning to get into his pants. Bella, our heroine, must be the most desirable and fascinating girl who ever existed, as Edward spends pages and pages grilling her with questions about herself. Then there's the forbidden dangerous love with a vampire, blah blah blah, Edward just becomes more and more fascinating - an expert pianist, a composer, fluent in many languages, while thorugh this series Bella's only hobby is Edward. I could go on and on. After four books and now two movies, I am wondering how in the hell I can de-brainwash my niece.
