And you thought your household was crazy at the holidays! Duke Orsino pines for Lady Olivia, but she’s too busy mourning for her dead brother. While a randy uncle chases after the maid, a snooty butler scrambles to keep control, and a mystical fool tosses off shrewd bon mots. Into this madness drops a pair of magnetic,... identical twins, Viola and Sebastian, who arouse passion wherever they turn, weaving healing magic for all. Shakespeare’s beguiling comedy is an enchanting holiday treat for the whole family.Read More

Seattle Shakespeare Company Well, we’re falling right in with an English Tudor tradition, and didn’t even know it. It turns out that All Hallow’s Eve, now known as Halloween, is the start of a winter festival that ends with Twelfth Night (or the eve of Epiphany). How appropriate that we start rehearsals for our production of Shakespeare’s "Twelfth Night" on Monday.

Some historians are doubting the Battle of Agincourt’s status as perhaps the greatest military victory against overwhelming odds, while also drawing some modern comparisons.
