Have you ever been caught in a situation where someone thought you weren't paying attention to them because you weren't looking at them, but you could have told them exactly what they'd told you if they would have asked?
A commonly misunderstood issue is that of ear-eye coordination. Sometimes the two senses have a har...d time integrating, and that can be mistaken for inattention or maybe even disrespect.
Attached is an interesting video explaining that issue. Let us know if it helps!

I’ve always been an advocate of exercise in order to lessen ADHD symptoms. Here is a terrific interview with Dr. John Ratey, published by Medscape Psychiatry & Mental Health (www.medscape.com) on 10/08/2009. It’s long, but worth the read.

This month, Dr. John J. Ratey, author and an Associate Clinical Professor, participated in an interview about his findings in studies on exercise and the brain. In the interview, he begins by describing that certain key chemicals are responsible for driving the attention system in the brain. According to Dr. Ratey’s s...tudies, exercise increases the concentrations of those chemicals, which is like taking a dose of meds. Secondly, he states that chronic exercise helps the attention system to grow. So, maybe the most exciting piece of news? Exercise can reduce the symptoms of ADHD.
