
The Seattle Public Library Summer Reading Program Everytime a child reads 10 books as part of the Summer Reading Program, they get to fill out an entry to the Breakfast of Champions drawing. At the end of the summer, each branch and Central, choose a winner (from the random drawing) to represent their location at the Breakfast.

Our goal was to have 12,029 readers sign up and 125,000 books read, and we had 12,352 readers and 156, 361 books read! Great work, everyone! We hope you had as much fun as we did...

Please don’t forget that all our libraries will be closed due to citywide budget cuts. :-( No Library services will be available, so stock up on those books, CDs and DVDs while you can. We’ll update our FB page when we get back after Labor Day on Tuesday, Sept. 8 ...
