The University of Washington School of Public Health (SPH) is the only accredited school of public health in the Northwest US and is a national leader in public health education and research. SPH is ranked fourth in the nation among schools of public health by US News & World Report (second among public schools).

One of 17 schools and colleges at the University of Washington, our School has five departments:

We offer interdisciplinary programs in Maternal and Child Health, Nutritional Sciences, Pathobiology, Public Health Genetics, and Social and Behavioral Sciences.
