Well, I don't have 10 dogs, but one of my 3 is a Husky/Lab mix, and she sheds ALL the time! Sweeping is a daily task at my house!

Only allowed cats in my apartment, but I know the fur slipper routine. I love hardwood floors. They're actually easier to care for and frankly, a heck of a lot more sanitary, who knows what you track into your home from outside!

I thought the "Irish" joke was wonderful! It made the whole story even more warm and appealing, in my opinion! Too bad they didn't make the story longer. You do very, very well on camera!

I frequently pass by herds of horses in central WA on Indian land. The horses are beautiful but there truly are quite a few of them. I am definitely not a fan of the slaughter house but do understand why they are looking for solutions. My last trip through I lost count of the horses up in the 60's.

On Saturday, May 2, 2009, some of the fastest horses in the world will make a run for the roses in the 135th Kentucky Derby. Closer to home, Second Chance Ranch is preparing some wonderful athletes from the world of racing for a chance at a second career and we need your help.

Second Chance Ranch has established a fund...raising goal of $35,000 for our 2009 Fund Drive. Our goal is to raise this money by May 2, the running of the Derby. With your support, Second Chance Ranch can continue the important mission of transitioning these equine athletes to second careers after racing and providing direct assistance to horses in need.

I love Katie and what she does for these horses! I boarded Duncan at her place when she was still in Maple Valley. Duncan in fact is an OTTB but he didn't like to run too much, he likes to eat candy, old fruit, cereal & pretty much anythng else that I'm eating. I missed him SOOO much when were in Hawaii, it was bad!
