Seeds of Learning All work group alumni are warmly invited to a work group gathering and potluck dinner on Saturday, October 3, from 4 – 7 PM at the home of Mike and Chris Turgeon in Santa Rosa. Please bring your photos, your family/friends, your stories, your passion, and a potluck dish to share. In addition to sharing photos, food, an...d stories, you will have a chance to see current pictures of the community where you worked (Palo de Agua, Nicaragua and Las Trincheras, El Salvador). And, Patrick Rickon (SOL co-founder and Nicaragua director) will be there, as will SOL Board and staff. We look forward to seeing you there and hearing personally about your experience. During the evening you will enjoy a Seasonal Gourmet Dinner inspired by John McReynolds and the Sonoma Valley Slow Food Convivium, a cheese bar from Carneros Caves Cheese, other fine hors d'oeuvre, and award winning Sonoma, Mendocino, and Napa Valley wines.
Throughout the evening, there will be bidding on silent and live auction items: from gift certificates to local restaurants, weekend getaways to Mendocino, and other vacation destinations, Central American art, wine lots with a new bottle of wine every week for a year, and much more
