Each year, as part of our observances of Samhain, we take a bit of foods and beverages served at our Samhain feasts as offerings for the Beloved Dead. Foods are placed on a Spirit Plate and beverages combined in a Spirit Cup. The Spirit Plate & Spirit Cup are on the altar in our Temple during our community's main Sam...hain Ritual. Later these offerings are taken outdoors, offered to the Dead in ceremony, and then placed on the main altar at Circle Cemetery. Read More

Janie I drove down to Aurora today to be fitted into special shoes. The construction crew was scheduled to do blasting at the end of our street so I waited until the end of the day to return home---it has been a long day. It will be a long weekend too--I have a surgery coming up that is on my mind. Thanks for being a friend.
