Session 1:
Just the Basics Dealing with the basic operations and functions of your DSLR, explaining each function, button, and doo-hickey. The bulk of the session is likely going to stick around the relationship between aperture and shutter, as well as depth-of-field. Basically everything on your camera has something to do with this relationship.

Session 2:
Composition and Shooting (Shooting Session 1)
We'll take those examples and look at them on the big screen, while also answering the concrete questions that will pop up about the stuff we learned before. Then we'll talk about composition and other framing issues, including lens lengths and why some lenses are worth $100 bucks and some are worth $10,000.

Session 3:
Flashes and Advanced Exposure (Shooting Session 2)
Dealing with flash, in terms of compensating above and below exposure levels (bracketing), as well as other bracketing techniques in general.

Session 4: Final Session/Critiques Keeping it open, determined by the class.

Four 3-hour sessions, as well as shooting sessions, photo discussions, and critiques. An individual photo essay will also be done as part of the ongoing class assignments. All for 175,000 won. A great price!

This class is designed for those who already have a basic knowledge of exposure in terms of aperture and shutter, depth-of-field, and fill flash. It's designed for anyone who has already taken the beginning class, as it's both brushup and photo challenges/problem solving such that your skills improve. And for those of you who've taken the first class, it's a perfect continuation for you, with the chance to continue principles learned in the first class, although they be applied in more specific and complex ways.

Studio Session II:
The first studio session was fun and involved learning how studio strobes worked, as well as a lot of "oohs" and "aahs" over how cool it is to get studio-clean shots at all. Now, it's time to pay attention to light and shadow, to controlling 2-3 lights, to the many subtleties that make studio lighting truly an art.

Outdoor & Street Photography:
You remember learning manual flash for fill? Think you're on top of the flash game? OK, then -- do it in Myeongdong on a Saturday evening in fully manual and aperture-priority modes with both moving and stationary subjects.

Specialized Photography:
Sports or runway photography with the long telephoto lens, macro shooting, long exposures, shooting with multuple flashes, multiple exposures, and more.

Photo Theory II and Wrap-up:
Going over our pics, both failed and fancy, it's time to critique our many pics, learn from them, and really lock in some advanced advanced knowledge. Whatever leftovers floating around in your head that remain to be explained -- we're gonna clean that up.

175,000 won for four 3-hour+ sessions. A great deal!
