I find it really disappointing that one of the organizations that is supposed to be fighting for LGBT people in uniform to be able to stay in uniform might be using ... Read Morethose very people as a political football to further other agendae. It all needs to be done - and I don't deny the need for legislation on hate crimes and other issues - but people are losing their livelihood, their medical insurance, and their ability to care for their families!!!!!

Tens of thousands denied the right to serve, or expelled despite exemplary service... while hundreds of thousands don't even consider the possibility. Service is real. Bumper stickers, car magnets and flag pins are (mostly) for show -- I don't want to insult those who actually have served or do serve AND have a car magnet!
