Jeff Hubbard is the 2009 IBA World Champ!
With Winny, Mike and Tamega eliminated in the Quarter Finals, the 2009 IBA World Title was assured for Hubb before the final event at El Confital was even decided. Jeff has been a dominating force in the past few years with successive world titles and his versatility in waves of... all shapes and sizes seems to have paid dividends yet again. After a blistering day of waves on the penultimate day of competition, it's a shame the finals were held in small 1-2 foot conditions that didn't allow the likes of Winny or MS to show their full potential… alas the consequences of being at the mercy of mother nature! Congratulations to the 2009 World Champion Jeff Hubbard!
