Clarice Mackey I work as a social worker at The Salvation Army and heard about Sewing for Babies years ago from a co-worker. Have you done or thought about making cloth diapers? We service many mom's in need that would be willing to do cloth diapers to get them through when they can't afford disposables. It seems to be the "in" th...ing these days for those interested in going "green".
Diane Keller I am interested in finding out more about your organization and how I might be of use as a volunteer with the organization. I helped occassionally when Jeannie Sanchez worked with Sewing for Babies in Lincoln and Beatrice. I live out of the city so am wondering if the beatrice group is still meeting and the schedules... so I can see if I can make something work. I have donated LOTS of fabric in the past and still have more that needs to be used instead of on my shelf. Nancy Engel We have a Graphic design student from Southeast Community College in Milford working with us on a new logo and brochure. Thanks Courtney for donating your time and expertise to us.
Nancy Engel thanks to all of you who donated clothing for the Omaha Reservation, my friend was especially excited about the new baby stuff as she makes up baskets for new borns at the hospitals and usualy only has used items to put in them. I am sure all of the stuff will be used. Save clothing and household item and we will bring a load up in the spring.
