Pull an "All Nighter" with your friends! Camp-out at SORA!
We will have an 8" diameter 4-1/2' tall telescope so you can see the rings on Saturn and the stripe and moons on Jupiter, and Orion's out in full view, its amazing!
Fair and Fetching will be on hand for an intimate jam session around the campfire. We will be show...ing Christmas movies on our 12 foot movie screen for all ages. The fire-pit will be burning all night long for smores and more. Midnight Volleyball and a Moon Walk Bounce House for the kid of all ages donated by Party Piñata on Gessner.
We are having our camp-out this year the Friday after Thanksgiving. We originally planned on having the weekend of the 20th but had conflicts. We know some of you will be out of town but hope those who are will come support SORA. Chili's is providing the food so a yes, no or maybe RSVP would be nice so we have a rough estimate on food. The event is open to everyone in the community so bring your friends, neighbors and Thanksgiving house guests.
Even if you don't want to spend the night still come and support the pool and our Shadow Oaks Dolphin Swim Team. We are accepting $10 donations if you can. If you made it to the Swim Team Party last summer you know what an incredible spread of great food they did for us!
Hot Food!
Chili's has once again come to the rescue! Chili's is providing the food for our Annual Camp-Out this year.
Last summer Chili's sponsored our Swim Team Party. Chili's also partnered with SORA for "Chili's Give Back" where 10% of our total amount spent by our members at Chili's was donated back to the swim team.

"Fair & Fetching" is back by popular demand! Everyone loves this trio and have been asking when they will be back. Well, they are back! This time for an intimate jam session as a duo. Vicki Villarreal and Moises Martinez will be jammin without
Molly Coffman on percussion this time. Who knows, Maybe they will lead us in songs around the campfire.

Warm Memories
Last year we had about 100 people attend. We had about 10 tents and about 35 people still on the grounds when the sun came up. We cooked up sausage and eggs on the grill and served up breakfast tacos. We hope to double attendance this year and build upon the great memories at SORA. Support the Dolphins!

Shadow Oaks Recreation Association How about playing this at SORA? We are working with a non-profit organization to put in a court to use to promote the sport. SORA would have the first court of its kind in Houston. This sport may also be coming to SBISD too.

SORA and the Shadow Oaks Civic Association are hosting an evening of Fun, Food & Live Entertainment by "Fair & Fetching" and other special guests. Shadow Oaks Recreation Association Adult Swim is in full swing. Request a form to get gate access. Start taking advantage of Adult Swim while the weather is hot and the pool's still warm. No kids allowed Mondays-Thursdays.
