Fusing the latest cutting edge styles of progressive electronic dance music with foundations of deep tribal rhythms and live vocals, MEDICINE DRUM are recognized as one of the early music pioneers to cross the boundaries of electronica, where organic meets digital. Founded in London in 1994 by percussionist and Earthdance founder Chris Deckker, their music is a rich hybrid of styles and textures. Not quite psy-trance, not quite techno and not quite future-dub, Medicine Drum blend all these styles while interlacing them with driving, earthy tribal percussion and world music influences.
Medicine Drum's sound and style has always been individual and mystical. The band has supported some of the biggest names in dance music including Moby, The Chemical Brothers, The Orb, Juno Reactor and Sound Tribe Sector 9 - and has played all over the world including Japan, Morocco, South Africa, Canada, London, Glastonbury Festival UK, Australia, Israel, Mexico, Europe, and the USA.

Shakti Bliss is a Tantric Shamanic Dakini, Ritual Guide, DJ & Performance Artist based out of Ashland, Oregon. Taking the stage as a dancer since she was a child, her passion for music that moves the soul and an obsession with bass is felt through her dance mixes blending cutting edge west coast dubstep, gypsy Balkan beats, and heart-centered melodies.
Shakti incorporates live performance art, temple dance, burlesque, fire arts, circus humor and community ritual from behind the decks. She collaborates with The Tantric Circus and Liquid Fire Mantra and has opened up for artists such as The Yard Dogs Road Show, March Fourth Marching Band, Vagabond Opera and Beats Antique.
Since the turn of the millennium she has toured the festival scene with her workshops, dance rituals and performance art embodying her life mission to assist in the awakening of the planet by dancing our way thru ascension via embodied bliss, spiritual transformation & divine love!

Ecstatic Bellydance is an ancient and modern sacred dance which awakens the bodies natural wisdom and ecstasy. It is a meditative and expressive form of bellydance that integrates many years... of study in dance, yoga, and tantra. We will begin with transformational yoga practice and go through basic Bellydance repertoire including isolations, taxim, and shimmies based on sacred geometric patterns and symbols. Then integrating these movements, we will journey through the body combining movement with breath, sound, and intention to create an embodied ecstatic experience. Afterwards we will have time to socialize and enjoy raw food snacks while DJ Shakti Bliss spins some down temps beats for us.
Amber weaves her unique background and expertise in traditional dance forms like Bellydance with tantric, ecstatic, and shamanic practices. She has been inspired by ecstatic dance journeys with Gabrielle Roth's five rhythms work as well as Ipsalu Tantra and Kashmiri Shiva Dance. Dance has always been Amber's personal practice for accessing ecstasy and union with the universe. Come learn, play, and awaken your natural ecstasy!
