Sharing the Love ♥ We've excitedly began the second week of Elijah's weaning process. He meets with his doc on Tuesday and we'll find out just how soon he gets to come all the way off the medication. Yay!!! ♥
Sharing the Love ♥ Day 7 of the weaning process. Elijah is doing really well. We're excited! He's had 2 leg-jerk style simple seizures. These last a couple seconds and were spaced 2 or 3 days apart. Hopefully they'll stop once he's completely off the medicine & his brain has time to recoup. If not, having a leg jerk once every 3 d...ays is much better than what was happening a couple months ago. ♥
Sharing the Love just wanted to share the success of our first 2 days in this weaning process. I know it's early in the game, but I have faith that Elijah will come off the Lamotrigine without severe complications. ♥ Thanks for your love, support, and prayers ♥

Sharing the Love Thanks for all the extra prayers said for Elijah this week. He's been doing better since Wednesday evening. We still aren't 100% sure what the cause was, but we are thankful that it seems to be a one time occurance.
