INTERMEDIATE-ADVANCED GLASS BEADMAKING TECHNIQUES

This will be a fun and innovative course where students will have the opportunity to explore a variety of traditional and contemporar...y lampworking techniques...

From simple to complex, learn how different techniques can expand your creativity and be combined, adapted and integrated into your own lampworking style. See how the addition of a few techniques can transform a simple glass bead into an intricate work of art. Make your handmade beads stand out from the crowd!

NOTE: This is NOT a beginner class. Students should be comfortable manipulating hot glass on a mandrel, pulling stringer and working on a Hot Head or dual fuel torch. The class will be taught on Hot Head torches.

Course Supply Cost: $30-50 (TBC)
Supply kit (provided first day of class) will include a variety of glass and other components. Pls bring payment to first class.

Other Supplies:
Students should bring their own Hot Head torch, propane, favourite tools, mandrels, can of vermiculite for cooling beads, etc. (and of course your beads!)Read More
