I just renewed my sunscription for another year. My file cabinets are full of Sheet Music Magazines from 1982 to the present. It's painful, but the only way to find your music is to keep a file database on your personal computer. I listed the volume/number/season and year followed by the song titles and the page numbe...rs in the issue. It's important you refile the physical magazine correctly (by the volume/year) in the file cabinet so you can easily locate it again. By the way, it's fun to pick up an old issue and see just how far the magazine has advanced with more information and song titles! By the way, my wife loved Istanbul - it brought back some chuckles as she remembered the melody.
Thanks Ed Shanaphy and keep it coming!

Laura Smith I'm looking for the song "Choc'late Ice Cream Cone" by Famous Lashua published in 1943. I have a recording of that song, but I would like to learn how to play it as well.

Joe Truly love the magazine but the cost for just four issues a year is too much. Hope to enjoy some interesting tidbits on this page!

just came across a web site by Mr. Doug McKenzie - a jazz piano instructor in Australia - which I think is ideal for intermediate/advanced players. Doug has painfully put together a "how I did it" video/audio/MIDI/pdf transcription file of many great jazz standards:
If the link doesn't work - Google Doug McKenzie - it's... worth your time!
