Taylor Shellfish Farms Its been a busy weekend for the Taylor Shellfish Crew. We did an Oyster Bar at the People for Puget Sound, harbor lights; Chef Xinh did geoduck demo’s at Edible Seattle’s SLASH fest; then we served geoduck along side Chelsea Farms oysters at the Chef’s Collaborative Sustainable Sushi event.

On August 19th The Thurston County Chamber organized a Shellfish industry tour for business leaders, policy makers and citizens. First we visited Chelsea Farms where the Lentz family showed off their very productive operation in Eld inlet. Then we crossed the Griffin peninsula to Totten Inlet to visit Taylor’s mussel f...arms.
