Shimmy-A-Thon Hi guys, Thank you to all who volunteered for and/or attended this first day. Remember we have day 2 tomorrow with 2 classes, Natalie Brown and Eric Peterson (Drums), also there is the shimmy contest. Several people today had problems with construction traffic on many of the highways so please check the GA DoT websi...te and plan accordingly. The first class starts tomorrow at 12:30 - -Sapphire

I have heard from many regarding volunteering and I have been in touch with you regarding it. If you have not been able to let me know, please feel to come when you can make it. If there is something to do then I will let you know. We do currently have a need for Sunday all day.
Attached is a parking pass please pr...int it and put it on your dash so that you are not ticketed. This goes for everyone attending.
Shimmy-A-Thon We are just 2 days till SaT!!! I am still amazed at the number of people who have not heard about the fun and educational classes available at a really reasonable price this weekend. Please help us spread the word. Tell folks in your classes. great classes, great price, supporting a great cause :-)

Shimmy-A-Thon
This unique event pairs the art & joy of belly dance with fund raising to help find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis (CF). CF is an inherited chronic disease that affects the lungs and digestive system of about 30,000 children and adults in the U.S. (70,000 worldwide).
Workshops with multi-award winning Aziza Nawal, the "Diva... of Shimmies" Zhaleh Fereshteh, Natalie Brown of Delirium and Eric N. Peterson.
Don't forget the Gala Show featuring out fabulous dance instructors on Saturday night!
All proceeds from the event will be donated to the
Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as part of their
GREAT STRIDES Campaign.
Shimmy-a-thon has raised over $76,000.00 with the generous support of our participants and sponsors!
Shimmy-a-thon encourages dancers to spread awareness about CF to friends, family, coworkers and their community and seek sponsors to support their efforts. We have some great prizes to award, so start soliciting sponsors early!
