Excellent question! I think it is both beneficial and harmful. For a business to retain the same customers as well as attract new ones is ideal. However, as seen with family owned businesses such as restaurants, customer loyalty can be a turnoff to potential customers looking for more diversity. On the other hand, If the restaurant wants to change its menu for example, it might run the loyal customers away for fear that the restaurant won't be the same anymore. Decisions, Decisions!
