Broadmoor United Methodist Church

Broadmoor United Methodist invites all to The Neighborhood Block Party from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25 at the church, 3715 Youree Drive.
This annual fall festival features activities for all ages and is free and open to the public. Activities from 4-6:30 p.m. will include spacewalks, hot air balloon rides, rock climbing,... bingo, volleyball, super slide, face painting and more. Hamburgers, hot dogs, drinks, and more will be served free of charge. Trunk-or-treating will begin at 6:30 p.m., with children invited to collect Halloween candy from rows of cars in the parking lot.
A safety fair will also be held, including demonstrations by Shreveport police and firefighters and the Caddo sheriff’s office. The event will include live music, and door prizes will be awarded throughout the evening.

Broadmoor United Methodist Church offers a monthly meal for college students, with the next lunch set for Sunday, Aug. 30 immediately following the 11 a.m. worship services. The meal is free for all college students.
With school back in session, the Uprooted college Sunday school class will resume at 9:45 a.m. Sept. 13... in Room 203 at the church. The group’s new study will focus on the Book of James.

From 12:15-1 p.m. each Wednesday starting Sept. 9, Power Lunch will offer an opportunity for young professionals in the Sherveport-Bossier City area to share a meal and discuss current events in the comm...unity and across the globe. Donations will be accepted, but there is no set fee for the lunch.
