I'm not sure if it counts as a resolution for 2010, but I decided to take advantage of "attractive year end financing" to replace my older pick-up with a Honda Insight Hybrid (which I got through a local dealer). So, at least I'll be tootling around at closer to 50 mpg on the highway than 20. It's also a fun little car . . .

Sierra Business Council Reason # 1 to support business in the Sierra: Reduce environmental impacts. Shopping in town centers reduces sprawl, congestion, habitat loss, and pollution. Locally owned businesses can make local purchases, requiring less transportation. Reusing and recycling items locally generates less waste and saves money.
