- Silver Lining Designs sells hand-made notecards. Each notecard is a photo print of an acrylic painting, mounted onto high-quality cardstock. Each card comes with a corresponding envelope. Notecards are sold individually, and in sets of four and six.
Silver Lining Designs donates 10% to ProMujer, www.promujer.org, a grassroots micro-lending foundation that helps entrepreneurs in the US and abroad start their businesses. - Mission:
- 1) To encourage people to continue to send hand-written notes despite all the technology that makes it so easy to just send an e-mail, a text message, or a facebook poke. The simple sincerity of a hand-written note says a lot more than an e-mail!
2) To support entrepreneurs in third-world countries. Silver Lining Designs donates 10% of all profits to ProMujer, a micro-finance organization that helps women in Latin America start their own businesses on small loans. These loans help them gain independence from abusive home situations, helplessness as women in a culture that doesn't always value the input of women, and a sense of hopelessness. - Products:
