This TapTastic event will be hosted by the dynamic duo of Baakari Wilder and Jason Janas - you definitely will not want to miss an evening of great music, jamming, and performances.

Known for fearless innovation and classic styling, the award-winning percussive dance ensemble Tappers with Attitude Youth Ensemble will explode with energy during family-friendly concerts on Saturday, January 9 at 3pm and 8pm at the Atlas Performing Arts Center.
Featuring performers ranging in age from ten to 18, the p...erformance includes the DC premiere of Twelve, by Step Afrika! Artistic Director Jaakari Sherman, the world premiere of Slippery Shooz by Baakari Wilder, and stand out repertory pieces.
We’re really excited to be presenting two new pieces with local roots. Whether your bag is latin jazz, contemporary vocals, traditional jazz, or you just want to see some cutting edge tappers working ‘outta da box,’ we encourage everyone to come thru and enjoy the show!

Tappers With Attitude Youth Ensemble Ya' gotta love the life of a tap dancer on a two-show day -- ice cream at 10am, followed by sushi, crab cakes, and MACARONI & CHEESE, followed by an audience member in tears, followed by crazy stiltwalker guy, Santa, Cookie Monster, and all of it capped off by a wicked snowstorm. All in a day's work!

ABC 7 News - Former Dancing Buddies Root for Mya on DWTS - Mya is hoping to wow the judges and the viewers Monday night. But her success on the show is no surprise to those who have been watching her dance for years.

Congrats to TWA and everyone who helped us get thru an astonishing 36 dances performed, with 230+ costume changes. We're proud ... and tired ... and wishing everyone a Tappy Thanksgiving with loved ones!
