A 17-year-old Panorama City boy has been arrested in Simi Valley on suspicion of committing numerous acts of vandalism, police said.

Four residential break-ins occurred at homes in the eastern portion of Simi Valley the week of Sept. 21. The owners of the homes were away during the early daytime hours when the crimes occurred.

Gallegly on receiving the 2009 Humane Law Enforcement Award by the Humane Society. “Other crimes often go hand-in-hand with animal fighting, including illegal gambling, drug trafficking and acts of human violence. Virtually every arrest for animal cruelty has also led to additional arrests for at least one of these criminal activities,” Gallegly said.
