With an expected crowd of 2000 participants and with more than 200 being wheelchair users sweating it out with other members of the public and organizations, it will be an event to remember. Invited Guest-of-Honour, Mr George Yeo, Minister for Foreign Affairs, will be present to officiate the event and flag off the par...ticipants at 10am.

Commemorating HWA's 40th Anniversary, The Wheel, Walk or Jog 2009 holds a special place this year as it's 25th year in running.

Despite the current economic crisis taking a toll on most charities, especially smaller ones like HWA, we have been fortunate so far to have the genorisity of many and WWJ is one of our few fund-raising projects to help us keep abreast especially during difficult periods like this and we look forward to your continuous support at the upcoming event.

This year's event sees a collaboration with our main partners, SingPost, and support from the National Parks Board, Singapore Armed Forces Football Club and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who have contributed much of their time and efforts to making this day possible.

So break the monotony of everyday life and come join us for a fun-filled day of activities that include our 1.5km wheel, walk or jog, games and lucky draws with exciting prizes to be won!
