Rug & Relic Enjoy the gorgeous weather tonight! Stroll the Eastbank on Arts First Friday! SEAC juried show reception, Eastbank pottery showcase, and three new artists at Sticks and Steel. Art, wine, weather...what's not to like?

Rug & Relic Irish Twins, a local Sx Falls/Beresford business, would love to have your support! (I went to high school with the owner...what was it Erin, about 5 years ago? or do I need to add a "0" to that? ahh, old age) We're thrilled to sell their products!

Rug & Relic Irish Twins soap is selling like hotcakes. Could it be the irresistable fragrances? Or are people just obsessing about cleanliness this cold and flue season? I' thinking the former...especially Orange Cinnamon...and Lemon Verbena...YUM!

Rug & Relic Well, it's official. the losers who likely stole the painting are refusing to cooperate with police via fingerprints, etc, and won't take a lie detector (though both said they would at the beginning of the investigation). I hope they enjoy living with you, Chico. Not too worried about them having an attack of conscience, that's for sure.

Rug & Relic It's amazing what a little creativity and some elbow grease can make out of a 200+ year old barn door. this table is one of many to come, courtesy of the artistry of Steve B. We're ready to custom tables (from similar wood), too, up to 16 feet!

Rug & Relic Irish Twins soap (a handcrafted soap made by my high school classmate, right here in Sx Falls) Is now available at Rug and Relic. Yes, they look beautiful, but they smell even better! I keep the lemon verbena on my desk, just for the fragrance. Special for facebook fans: 20% off any purchase, now through Thanksgiving!

Rug & Relic Holy shakeup! Mark is here from OKC, and the new gallery is taking shape...come see the new line of handmade soaps from Irish Twins Co. Gorgeous, and SO yummy. you'll never smell better!

Erin Nelson Tove...your store makes me giddy. Can't get those spice pots and burl bowls out of my head. Goin on the Chrismas list...and I have been good this year.

Rug & Relic Steve's on his way to Oklahoma City, with a truck full of rugs, and a trailer full of relics. OKC will be a more interesting place by the time he returns next week!

Rug & Relic in Chico Burbuja/stolen painting news: a different painting, stolen some 5 years ago from 8th and Railroad Ctr (our building), was returned last week. Someone set it by the front reception desk while it was unattended. Suppose the thieves are getting nervous??

Rug & Relic oops - I forgot: we also unwrapped an antique "sextant" - an ancient tool used for navigating ships. Nope. Nothing in this shipment is very interesting!

Rug & Relic today's find: a sacramental urn, rendered in copper, decorated with crosses and fish, dated 1843. Do I really have to say antique? handcrafted? one-of-a-kind? I thought not.

Rug & Relic back to the salt mines...or more appropriately, the copper mines! Will post pics later today of some of the outrageously interesting pieces Steve found this time in Turkey!
