Sit Stay Read Manierre vols, we received this incredibly lovely note from Mrs. McGee (retired teacher) with her holiday card and donation. "I know from experience that your program not only improves reading but improves the love of reading, and writing as well. Please continue with this program because it opens the eyes of a lot of ...students who sometimes are just not motivated to read or write. Love you and your work."

Jennifer Cristina

Jennifer Cristina Personal hilights of the last week: Faraday: Mr. Groves' 3rd graders committing to writing "expository" papers teaching the 2nd graders about their upcoming dog visits; 4th graders (who I've had for 3 years) reciting Frost's "Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening" for me (got a little misty); Lowell: Reading Ms. Cavalle...ry's 3rd graders' new books and receiving awesome thank you cards with a picture of me hand drawn on each one; Hendricks: watching the 4th graders (who I've also had for 3 years) explode when I gave them an official White House Christmas Card signed by Barack and Michelle. I am so lucky to get to spend time with all of these wonderful kids.
