Dave Brooks has planned to row the Atlantic Ocean, continue across the Caribbean to Panama, and then journey out across the Pacific Ocean to Australia, via Tahiti.
No-one has ever completed this double ocean crossing in history, and to do so solo and unaided would be as worthy a task as one could imagine!
The initial At...lantic crossing will involve 60 to 70 days crossing from La Gomera in the Canary Islands to Antigua in the Caribbean, a distance of 3000 miles. This is part of a race run by Woodvale-Challenge in December 2009.
