Attention, all ladies! Monday night, November 9th is our Women's Ministry night. Captain Paulette Marvels from the Salvation Army will be our speaker. She is an awesome lady and will bless your heart. Her testimony is something else and she will have you laughting in stitches too! Plan to come. As you come, bring... a canned good for the Salvation Army and also bring items for our shut-ins. We will be preparing about 13 baskets for them. Fruit, hard candy, powder, socks, lotion, Etc. Bring soup and crackers or cornbread to share, maybe even a dessert.There will be a nursery.

Maple Avenue Baptist Church There will be a Chili Lunch next Sunday after the morning service (11/8). There is no charge for the food, however; donations will be accepted for an upcoming youth conference if you'd like to give.

Our Women's Minstry group meets next Monday night at 6:00 p.m. in our Family Life Center. We will bring salads and trimmings. Our emphasis for the night will be on missions. We will enjoy a meal, fellowship, devotion and a time of wrapping shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child and filling sacks of candy, hygiene... items,etc. They will be used by our Awana Clubbers when they fill shoe boxes the first Wed. night of November.I hope all of our ladies will come and be blessed! What a joy to serve our Lord in many ways!Read More

Lavonne got released from the hospital today. Little Landon is in Children's. They decided he had pneumonia. He is on medicine and will be there 7 to 10 days but is making progress. He is a beautiful baby boy. Keep all of them in your prayers in these days . Lavonne is healing, will probably be in LR with Landon.... Andrew and Ashley are taking care of the other little ones, along with Shelly, Phillip and other family members.Read More
