As pretty as these beaded focals looked dangling from the ends of delicate threader style earrings I was having something of an issue with breaking solder - either where the posts were joined to the chain, or the tiny jump rings.
So having seen this style of earring hoop being used to good effect I decided to give them... a go.
Using them means I don't have to work in the soldered closed jump ring into the beaded bead and not much can go wrong with a decent gauged not too soft sterling silver hoop....

Again herringbone stitch but this time worked to form an oroboros-esque focal.
The pendants have a sterling silver closed jump ring attached to them and are hung on sterling silver chain of between 48cm and 50cm in length (end to end)
