Snapdragon I am now home after setting up my stand at the Country Living Fair at the SECC in Glasgow. It is number E10 - the one covered in silver alliums behind the little round huts. There are lots of lovely stands - I will have to fit in some shopping myself.

Snapdragon In January's issue of Gardeners' world magazine there is to be a feature on growing your own wedding flowers; featuring a bouquet of autumn flowers and foliage put together by Snapdragon - everything grown here. The actual photoshoot was done so long ago that I can't actually remember what the bouquets looked like! I'm sure thy had some helenium in them though.

day from 11am til 5.30pm . With 10 % discount on all purchases , mulled wine and mince pies etc . its not to be missed.

Snapdragon Quick snap of one of the finished space hopper bottle openers - I love the way that the orange sings out against the brght fabric. Its a pity that I didn't remove the scrap of black thread from the face before clicking the shutter though - thread seems to follow me about these days.
Snapdragon We have been going through the fabric boxes chosing our favourite's - this is Kit's. A bit of 1970s cotton I remember from my childhood. Today it is being transformed into space hopper bottle openers headed for a shop in Aberdeen.

Snapdragon Tonight - 7.30 Killearn Church hall (not village hall as I said before) - sale in aid of an ambulance boat for ongoing project in Malawii - they have 3 big boxes of Snapdragon samples & seconds to sell as well as lots of other stalls. Good cause and a chance to grab a bargain.

Snapdragon This year the Snapdragon team has decided to donate all our samples, seconds and discontinued things to a local charity raising funds to sponsor an ambulance boat in Malawi. Tomorrow evening there will be a sale in Killearn Village Hall at 7.30 - get yourself along and grab a bargain.
Snapdragon This week's best seller is again the jam notebook -so we will be making up a lot more this morning - this one uses a lovely old Laura Ashley cushion cover.
Snapdragon Light Sussex cockerel - same breeding as ours - sold for £25 yesterday at Lanark poultry sale. I am still giving them away to GOOD home. :)
