
Snowdonia Adventures Its been very wet in North Wales the past wqeek or so. Wednesday and Thursday were spent out in the hills on a 2 day intermediate navigation course. Winds of 80mph on the tops so we stayed low and got wet just the same!

Snowdonia Adventures Last night was spent with returning clients, Jo, Dean, Garry and Chris. A night navigation session in the Ogwen Valley, we also saw a rainbow at 8pm! Lit up by a full moon.

Snowdonia Adventures This weekend was a 2 day navgation course, we had a group of 7 on the Saturday and a group of 4 on Sunday. Sunday was spent in very bad visibility on Moel Siabod, Jo, Dean,Garry & Chris did very well planning and following their ridge route in bad visibility, well done.

Snowdonia Adventures Visibility was pretty bad on Sunday, which was great for the 1:1 intermediate/advanced navigation course with Mike.

Snowdonia Adventures Today was spent running a gold level NNAS assessment course, while Trystan finished off his 2 day scrambling going out with Rory, who took him up Idwal and finished on Cneifion Arete, a quality alpine style grade 3 scramble.

Snowdonia Adventures Thirsday was another scrambling day on Tryfan with Trystan, He wanted to gain confidence on steeper short scrambling sections, which is exactly what we did! It was great to see his confidence grow. We also chose as much steep down climbing sections as his confidence would allow.

Snowdonia Adventures Wednesday was superb dry weather and a scramble up Tryfan with Matt & Louisa was great fun. On the way down we practiced some south african abseils and some emergency lowers.

Snowdonia Adventures Had a great, but very wet day today with returning clients Matt & Louisa. A day spent looking at rope skills for security and confidence on steeper walking terrain. Tomorrow is set to be dry so the plan is to spend the day on Tryfan and some exploring from the south side.

Snowdonia Adventures Saturday was gorge scrambling with a group of 8. A great morning in quite cold water,brrrr!

Snowdonia Adventures Client Andy and 3 of his friends came up to North Wales for some coasteering and a mountain day with us. Coasteering was great, as always, blue skies but a cool breeze, on the way back from Anglesey we stopped oof for a quick Go-Kart race, I won with fastest lap times :) they were warned Im quick! The 2nd day I talked ...the guys out of going up Snowdon & had a brilliant day of scrambling on Tryfan, fantastic weather.

Snowdonia Adventures A superb but windy day on Snowdon on the 12th Setpember saw a group of ladies have a good walking challenge and with some great views for a change.

Snowdonia Adventures had a great coasteering session today, warm sea, blue sky and 20c! As we were on a low tide it was great to see so many fish in the gin clear water. Great fun.

BEACHCOMBERS are being warned to be on the look-out for poisonous Portuguese Men-o-War after 50 of the jellyfish-like creatures were found on Anglesey.
