What is the YA Showcase? The Showcase is an exciting chance for parents, teachers, administrators, and enrichment coordinators from across Massachusetts to see Young Audiences' teaching artists working with students...
Young Audiences of Massachusetts
As a service to the schools in Massachusetts, Young Audiences offers workshops to guide enrichment coordinators, teachers and administrators in providing successful arts enrichment programming in their school.
Workshop includes guidance in:
- Creating goals for arts enrichment programming
- Establishing a school enrichme...nt committee
- Selecting, evaluating and scheduling programs
- Establishing programming record keeping systems
- Advocating for arts in your school
- Seeking program funding
- Locating and establishing networking opportunities
Presenter: Gail Zarren is Project Director of Young Audiences' Healing Arts for Kids hospital initiative. She has 25 years of experience bringing arts enrichment to schools and communities, is a former President of the West Suburban Creative Arts Council, and a 20-year member of Young Audiences' Program Committee.
Workshop is FREE, pre-registration required (Limited Enrollment)
