Mountain Bookshop Well, it looks like we're having trouble keeping Maggie's book in stock! Every time we order, the number goes up. We'll get this figured out and make sure we have enough on hand. Maybe Maggie will outsell Harry Potter!

John Lived in Sonora from 1973 to 1983. Our home is now the Lavender Hill B&B. You were always one of our favorites.

Mountain Bookshop A pretty amazing story has just been published, written by Sonora's Maggie Hurst Reese. It's called "Runaway Mind-My Own Race with Bipolar Disorder." Her mother, Leslie, her sister, Amy, her friends and her mother-in-law, Donna Reese also contribute. I honestly have a problem with self published books, but I couldn'...t put this book down. It is so well done and told in an incredibly open hearted way. We're planning on having an author signing in January, so be on the lookout for the date. Maggie is amazing!

Mountain Bookshop It is Christmas Eve and the Bookshop has closed. It has been a wonderful Chritmas here at the Mountain Bookshop. Thank you to all of our terrific customers. We will be closed for Christmas Day and also on December 26th and 27th. See you again on Monday.

Mountain Bookshop Today we were visited by THE most beautiful, most PERFECT, golden retriever. His name is Viggo, and he is being trained to help someone who has limited mobility. We were privileged to take the credit card from him--Norah was the lucky one. What a beautiful creature, and how lucky for whoever gets to be his person.

Mountain Bookshop Tomorrow is not just Christmas Eve--it's Pajama Day! Yay!!

Mountain Bookshop Just a reminder--we will be open until 8:00 at night this coming Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Bz Smith JUst must say how grateful I am that we have Mountain Bookshop in our community! Not only do you have the best book and gift selection around, but that is one hot crew! Love you all.

Mountain Bookshop Takin' a break from Red! Sheri, Mary and Norah all showed up in blue on Saturday. Great minds think alike!

Mountain Bookshop We have the best bunch of people to work with. Looking at these pictures still cracks me up!
