I have finally taken up the task of repairing my (5000 Ease) bell tent, after it was rather unnecessarily violated at the end o the weeMAD festival on Arran in Sept...
Can anyone advise me: how do I repair my built-in ground sheet? Can I order a sheet of the special... plastic and use a special glue to attach it, bicycle repair stylee? Or is there a mega-master tape I can use? One rip is approx 25cm long. clean rip near the middle, and the other is near the tabs that are pinned to the ground outside: both need to be strong repairs, to be able to take the tension...
Also need to know what thread to use to repair canvas seams in a couple of places: and can I order it or buy it somewhere in Scotland/ on-line?

The lights are fantastsic. What a great idea. It looks like the tenting season is over for another year :-(. Been a few good places this year. Arran was my faverout. Going to loch lomond next week to stay in a hotel. aint the same but at least its dry.
