South Dearborn Dollars for Scholars Help us spread the word about the The South Dearborn Squire Challenge - our new scholarship program for SDMS 7th & 8th graders. We are asking SDMS students, their parents & teachers to be a fan.
South Dearborn Dollars for Scholars Thank you very much to American Electric Power of Lawrenceburg. SDDFS received another grant from them and we are excited to announce that we will be awarding at least twenty (20) $500 scholarships next November to some deserving SDHS graduates who are sophomores, juniors and seniors in college. More info to be posted later.

South Dearborn Dollars for Scholars Tonight is our Recipient Alumni Reunion. 5pm-7:30 pm in the SDHS cafeteria. All past recipients & their parents, teachers, past board DFS members and sponsors are invited. It's a great way for our scholarship recipients to show their gratitude to our supporters.

South Dearborn Dollars for Scholars Congratulations to Ross Robinson, a 2005 SDHS graduate, DFS recipient and 2009 DePauw University graduate. He received a Fulbright Scholarship in May 2009 and is spending the 2009/2010 academic year working in a German secondary school in Hamburg as an English Teaching Assistant. Awesome!!
South Dearborn Dollars for Scholars The Young Republic (band member Kristin Weber is a 2004 SDHS grad & DFS recipient) will be performing at the Green Lantern in Lexington on Nov 12, Rudyard Kipling in Louisville on Nov 13th and the Melody Inn in Indianapolis on Nov 15th. They will also be performing at the Southgate House in Newport KY on Wed, Nov 25th.
