Tahoe-Baikal Institute 2010 SEE program announcement and application materials are now available on our website. We will begin accepting applications on October 15th, 2009. Admissions decisions will be made on a rolling basis from now until February (no applications accepted after Feb 5, 2010).

Tahoe-Baikal Institute Each year, SEE participants collaborate on a restoration project with the California Tahoe Conservancy. This year our students -Removed seven 50-gallon bags of invasive weeds; -Planted 100 Tahoe Yellow Cress (endangered) plants; -Constructed 387 ft of wooden fencing to protect fragile areas; -Revegetated 185 ft of old trails; -Rehabilitated 197 ft of approved trails; -Stabilized 86 sq ft of eroding beach bank.
